Default Size of the bolts for the front passenger's seat?

Does anyone know what size Torque bit is used for the bolts holding the front passenger's seat?

To help clarify, I bought one of these: http://www.mountguys.com/PhotoGaller...DRoadmate3000T

and all the T bits in my wratchet set are too small... additionally everything at Home Depot is too small. I can pick it up at a auto parts store, but the problem is they either have an expensive set or individuals and I do not know what size will work. I would prefer not to buy the set or go through the process of returning the individual ones till I find the correct size.

I know someone here will be able to help... so thanks!!

Default RE: Size of the bolts for the front passenger's seat?

Apparantly, it is a Torx not Torque bit I am looking for... but can't figure out which size and have been searching all afternoon. It seems the most popular sizes for Audi is either 25 or 27 (guess they don't make a 26?) does anyone have a set they can try both on this bolt and verify which for me? Would be a huge help!!

What you need is a serrated wrench. It is sometimes referred to as a 12-point wrench or triple square wrench. I had to buy one a few months back (for the steering wheel) and I went to several places and no one had any idea what I was talking about. I finally found them at Napa Auto Parts. The one I have is a 12mm and I compared it to the seat bolt in my '07, it is slightly too big. You probably need a 10mm. Napa's part no. is SER 2305 (http://www.napaonline.com/NOLViewer/...amp;ShowPics=1) If that doesn't work, they also carry an 8mm - SER 2304 (http://www.napaonline.com/NOLViewer/...amp;ShowPics=1). Cost is ~$6. I would suggest going to the store and buying the 10mm then try it while you're still in the parking lot. If it doesn't fit, you can go right back in and return it for the 8mm.

The seats requirea 10mm Triple-Square driver. I purchased one from NAPA as BAMF requested, but ECS has a set of four sizes for $15 (half-way down the "tools" link). You'll need all of them if you intend to do much work on your Audi.
