Default Where to service a 2005 Audi.

I got this A3 2005 which is out of manufacturer warranty ( cos its 60k miles ). Should I take this for service ( by service I mean check oil , etc ) to Audi or these checks can be handled by others. The info display displays SERVICE at ignition.

I have 3 years warranty with AA in the UK but that does not cover service.

Default RE: Where to service a 2005 Audi.

If it is like the 2006+, the computer keeps track of how many miles/days it's been since your last service. It should just be regular maintenance (oil/filters/etc.) Check your manual to see what exactly is due for service at your current mileage. The service reminder can be reset with a VAG tool (any shop that services VW/Audi should have this), otherwise I think there is another way to reset it, but I can't remember how. Might say in your manual, or try searching the forum.
