Default new audi a3 owner ?s

Whats up guys, my name is Blake im 25 and i just bought my first Audi. its a 06 A3 with the 2.0T premium. i have had turbo cars before but i have never owned a german car so i was wondering what mods you all would suggest i do first. i want to keep the car for awhile but i dont want to do anything to it that might mess it up or kill the resale on it. i have done alittle reading on it and so far i gather that a chip and dp help out alot but the rest of the exhaust doesnt really matter for hp. any suggestions on what chip, dp, intake and boost controllers i should get or should i not mess with the boost at all.. i know on my srt 4 i could crank the boost up to 18-19psi or so but i dont have any clue as to how much boost the A3 runs or can run... thank you all for any help and suggestions..

congrats on the purchase.

for chip options
www.revotechnik.com
www.goapr.com

intake
www.neuspeed.com
www.evoms.com

for various other or cheaper parts, check out
www.mjmauthaus.com

APR alos has downpipe and their ecu tunes have specific software such as DP, fuel pump, etc files.

Its common for the chipped cars to spike at 20psi but run a constant of between 15-17. People have had chipped a3's for tens of thousands of miles with no reported problems.

Chip, chip, chip. And since the poster above left this one out: Neuspeed also makes a good chip.

If you want more boost, definitely go for the chip tune. I wouldn't mess with a manual boost controller on this car though.

it looks like the revo is the best increase and the cheapest. what are you guys running and what do you think ... i would like to go for a ride some time but this is the only a3 i have even seen in my area. i am a nissan and toyota certified tech so installing my own parts is not a problem. with the revo can i just install it and go or do i need to take it to a dealership for reflashing? i dont work at a dealership any more otherwise id do it myself

you have to go to a revo tuner and have the CPU flashed its not something you can do yourself.

Also where are you located? Revo may not be near you buy APR or GIAC maybe. Both are good chips form what every one says. I plan on getting APR in the next 2 weeks since the dealer is so close to me and has a good rep.
