condensation

So I have a 05 A4 quattro and there is condensation in my headlights? Any ideas how to solve this? Should I just remove the outer covers?

Just pull the bulbs and get down in there with a hair dryer. If you can't get the hair dryer down there, remove the headlights and do it. That'll dry the condensation. While you have the lights out, look them over carefully and see if you can find where the moisture is coming in (bad gasket or seal somewhere, or a crack in the housing) and seal it with silicone to prevent it from happening again.

Wouldn't that depend though on what type of lights you have? For instance, I have HID's and I cannot simply take a bulb out. Have taken mine to two local Audi dealers for the same issue but was told this is common on Audi's with HID's in this climate (Washington) and because the enclosure was "vented" I would have to deal with it. So, I wash my car and pound my hands into the ground because the insides of my headlight enclosures look like one of those stupid Cascade commercials about spot free glasses and what glasses look like with the other stuff!
