1988 audi shuts down help - 1/11/2008 6:53:03 PM    ficek801   Posts: 1 Joined: 1/11/2008 Status: offline 1988 audi 90 5cyl non quatro 5sp. i will try to explain. when it runs it will suddly shut down than some times i move the distributor cap and it makes light noises than it will start up agian. but sometimes it wont last long, like today i was driving down the highway going 70 and it shuts down than 15 sec when im costing it starts back up and blows a hole in my muffler.. i know my spark plug wires are really bad. but everything els is new including the distibutor help Post #: 1
