i found previous posts about this but they were people looking for them, so i hope i'm not repeating.
i bought an upper front strut bar for my "98 2.8 a4, but it doesn't seem to fit quite right...
i might just be screwing something up but it seems like the break fluid container is in the way.
It might just be that it sits right on the back of it but if anyone has expirence with this, i'd love to know what to do!
which manufacture do you have, i know diff manufactures have different designs of the strut bar. I have a LLtek and have no fitting issues. i also have a00,1.8T.
does your's got straight across? because as you can probabl tell, this one curves back toward and over the battery. I could probably get this one to fit, but i'm just worried about it putting unwanted weight or pressure on the break fluid container...
well the one i have is pretty close to that, it just looks weird in the pic.
in the pic of mine it just looks weird because its adjustable and its twisted in the pic, otherwise it looks just like yours but without the straight bar between the two mounts. I guess i'll just have to try putting it on but i'm still not sure its right...

^+1 your car will handle better with out it. STB promote understeer which is why they are popular on rear wheel drive cars. You car has enough understeer already

And Civics, because ricers know less about suspension than they do about driving, which is scary.
