bose speaker
 

i own a 2005 audi a6 3.2, with the bose surround sound system. the front passenger side speaker rattles ridiculously when i turn up a song with bass, and even when the volume is minimal. im almost positive that the speaker is blown. does anyone know the exact sizing of the speaker, and where i could get one? or does any other car have the same bose speaker as the a6?

Hmmmm...maybe at the dealer if you're still under warranty.

most likely your dealing with a 6 1/2 to 7 speaker. If most Audi models are the same. the speaker is actually integrated into the mounting bracket. To reuse the factory bracket, you have to destroy the speaker and cut it out. Then you can reuse it with factory mounting. Some work but it is possible to replace. BUT you gotta do it in pairs.
