do i need to purchase a new engine cover in order to install evo cai?

you will have to remove your stock cover for sure, to install the cai, wether you like to look at some bare wires pipes etc is up to you to purchase their engine cover

The engine cover is purely cosmetic if you are running a CAI. Personally, unless you plan on showing your car, I wouldn't worry about it.
