Default p1127 code...need help 2001 a6 2.7T

My check engine light just went on and on both occasions happens shortly after I start my car in the morning...it hesitates a bit (like it's going to die out) then mellows out...a couple minutes later my CEL goes on. I know that the p1127 code is an issue with " Long term fuel trim - System too rich Bank1" has anyone out there had this problem? I've changed the bank 1 02 sensors, the coolant temp gauge (thinking it wasn't reading the engine temp correctly and was therefore trying to compensate) and cleaned the MAF...

Any insights would be great...

Default RE: p1127 code...need help 2001 a6 2.7T

It is likely caused from the engine losing already metered air like a leaking vacuum line or a bad mass airflow sensor. Cleaning a MAF sensor can help but more often then not people tend to do more damage them. They are actually quite fragile so replacement with new parts is highly recomended

Here is a link on how to build a cheap pressure tester to track down vacuum leaks if you decide to go that way
