Default PLEASE PLEASE HELP :(

I have a 1999 Audi A3 1.8T

And i have a problem!

When driving, if i go over slight bumps, or holes in the road there seems to be a knocking/clonking sound coming from near the wheel area, and i can just feel it!

Iv had this with cars before and it alwaysed turned out to be the supsenion bushes or something similar, but my garage cant find anything wrong?

Audi want £140 just to find the problem, so thats a no no, for the time being!

And ideas i could throw at my mechanic to check out?

Thank you so much! This has been anoying me for ages now, especially the fact that within the next 2 weeks it will be running 232bhp, i dont want the wheels to fall off!

Would you say this is a "serious" problem, as iv just had fitted a viper induction kit, Full milltek system from the turbo, forge DV, 4 bar fuel pressure regualtor and a satge 2 REVO remap?

How does this effect the problems you mentioned?

Cheers mate
