Very confused about audis oem radios, please help!
I have the window sticker from my car and it says "Audi symphony AM/FM radio with in-dash 6 disc CD changer" included but under the options menu it does not list a charge for a bose sound system. then I see listings on here that say "bose symphony head unit for sale" and on the head unit it does not says bose just "audi symphony" so is there a symphony, and then symphony bose? Whoever had the car before me put in a jvc head unit and I want to go back to stock and need to know which head unit I need.
Also, I have a small sub in my trunk and I have a LOT of bass, infact my headunit bass ouput is at -2 on a scale of (+6 / -6) if that means anything. |

If you've got the sub I think that means Bose..
Door speakers should have bose logo... and stereo shouldread "Bose" when you turn it on. |

I too am unclear about the Audi oem radios [8D]
I have an older Concert Radio. Does it say Bose anywhere? Nope. No badges on the speakers but I believe I have a sub in the boot. Confused I am... Here is a picture of one that looks identical to my headunit, except mine doesn't say Bose on startup. It says nothing.... I also thought the Concert unit was made by Matsushita in Japan. The folks that make Panasonic products.... |
