hello,
i have a 94 audi 90s fwd automatic v6 2.8 the transmission doesnt shift right also the dash display where the gears are, is not illuminated aswell as the "sport" button doesnt work and gear letters and numbers next to the shifter... is there a way to reset the tranny computer? i checked the fuses they are all good. the speed sensor works, it goes into gear but i have to manualy shift from 1st to D if i dont it stays in either 2nd or 3thr gear. where is the computer for the tranny located?

ok i tihnk i found the computer is under the dash next to the break pedal. i unplugged it and turned the car on and it was like i didnt even touch anything... the computer looks fine doesnt smell like burn than again it doesnt have to.  does any one know how to check if its getting power? is there a realay/fuse for the computer? theres a bunch of relays under the dash but audi made a really crappy layout of the relays it doesnt even tell which is which...
