Couple interior lights out..
 

Ok more of an electrical problem than an electronics problem...

I've got two dome lights in my car that won't illuminate. (this is my 01 allroad)

First we've got the dome light over by back seats. The two spot lights work, but the middle two lights for general illumination don't light up. The door sensors do work, since the feet lights still work when the door is opened. Ther are two bulbs and I've checked them both. I've tried the switch in all positions. I've checked fuses.

Second, we've got my rear hatch light that is mounted on the door itself. Again, everything in the tail-section seems to be working fine. The 12v socket.. the license plate lights.. the door sensor.. but the bulb just won't come on.

Is there any chance these two things are related?? I'd have a hard time believing that they are. Any ideas? TIA
