2000 A4 1.8T Quattro tiptronic
I purchased the ECS ultimate timing belt kit, (water pump, tensioners) ect and need a indy shop to install. I have been getting quotes of $1,000 which I know is ridiculously high. Can someone recommend a shop who is competent and let me know what the REAL price I should look to pay is.
Thanks
I called Quattrohaus and they quoted @ $600.00(no parts) to install timing belt, water pump, thermostat, tensioners, new belts, cam adj gasket, cam seals and valve cover gasket. Seems fair. Not knowing who they are and the fact that you worked there, I am trusting your recommendation. Ill renew my triple A roadside towing just in case....
Thanks for the help
how much would this quattrohaus shop charge for regular maintenance and tuning? I just hit 70k miles and need to change my oil and all other maintenance and tuning stuff

do it yourself, it is not nearly as hard as the job is made out to be. I did it by myself in 4 hours. I love working on my car so I thought it was a wonderful way to spend a portion of my day off.
