Ok after many hours of reading forums and researching Practical, yet effective turbo applications I'm going with the Garret from: http://www.pagparts.com/perfpts1.asp?pprd=gtturbo&cat=gttseries You'll notice some have the .48 and .63 turbine housing and they are avail. in 270Deg. thrust bearing and 360Deg. thrust bearing. How will these differ and which one will give me the least amount of lag with the biggest HP gain? T34E50T27048 T3/T4E 50 trim w/ .48 A/R Turbine Housing 270deg thrust bearing

You still have not did enough research yet. I spent TONS of time answering this in the A4 newb thread that you STILL have not read. This is the only help i will give you. Not to mention this is the 3rd thread about upgrades you have made with 0 effort spent researching.
The 360 bearings oil the turbo better. The .48 will spool faster and the .63 will make more power.
Now please, read that thread and when you show me that you have some idea in what you are doing, i will help you more.

I've done a great deal of research, but I still could do more. Plus nothing is mentioned in the newbie guide about trust bearings. I just wanted a quick answer so I could make a purchase.

thrust bearings = journal bearings. Like said above, 360 oil better than the 270. Not sure if its worth the extra $50
