so i had my boost gauge installed and as soon as i left the shop i was extremely dissappointed. the gauge is working fine, and i dont have a single vacume leak in the whole system, and the car is only running 8lbs. i had itchipped through oliver and everyone else has said they have good results, but 8lbs is not good results. anyone that got chipped with speedtuning have a boost gauge? what psi are you guys running? im really not sure where to start with this problem esp. since i started school again and i need the car. i was wondering why the car didnt have the 'night and day' difference everyone talks about. i really think its a vac. leak but the guys at the shop i go to said they couldnt find any. so they think its in the programming. i really need some help w/ this one guys. the car holds around -20 at idle and peaks at 8lbs only with WOT , and it holds at about 4 lbs during normal driving. wuts going on with this??

Something is def wrong. As far aswhat I can't help there.I put my gauge in on Sat. and I'm spiking at 20-21 and holding at 16-18. Although in 1st and 2nd it's not quite as high. It'll go to 11-12 in 1st and spikes at about 17-18 in 2nd.
i'm not sure what the problem is but i am having a similar problem also. i have a speedtuning chip as well and usually it boosts at 18 psi, but sometimes it only goes to the stock 8 psi. i'm not sure what it causing it, whether the car is going into some kind of limp mode or something, but its really annoying. i'll start the car, accellerate, and in 2nd gear i'll get 18 psi, then i shift into 3rd and i'll only get 8. it doesnt make any sense to me. sorry to butt in on your thread but i was just about to make a post about the same issue butthen i saw yours. if it were only getting 5 psi then it would make more sense to me cause then i would say the wastegate isstuck (since its set at5 psi stock) and the diverter valve allows it to make 8 psi before releasing pressure, but since its chipped and i also have a forge diverter valve, i have no idea whats going on.
sh!t and as of right now we have the same DV and everything. i hope someone can help me with what it is cause the car is running pretty nice for what it is right now at only 8lbs so i can only imagine what it gunna do at 14-16lbs. i talked to Oliver and he said he put the right program in and everything, i was a little disappointed when he refused a free reflash though. now i gotta wait till next tuesday to go back to the shop to try and even figure out what it is, unless someone on here can help me out.

im also gunna try as hard as i can to find someone with a compatable, chipped ECU and see what happens if i hook up their ECU to my car, if im boosting at 15+lbs thens theres no doubt its the program, but if its still at 8 im still stuck.

I got no problems with my speedtuning flash, and I'm running the same forge 007p dv as both of you. I spike ~17/18 and hold ~16 psig. If your at 20 in Hg at idle, the vac. leak is not huge, and it's definitely not in your boostgauge line. I doubt the problem is with the ecu flash. Not sure about this, but maybe your turbo ison it's way out and can't make the boost.
sounds like speedtuning worked out for bogie and mcgovs , but in general you pay for what you get. there is a reason why so many use GIAC, APR, Uni, and Revo.
