Sorry if I am posting it on the wrong section, I didn't find any lights forums. But anyways, I have a new B7 and didn't want to pay the $1K+ for the lighting package since I only want the xenon lights. What are my options now? Is there any way I can get aftermarket xenons (HID not halogens)? How much would it cost, where can I get it? I don't have the skill to do any kind of installation, who can do this for me, dealership?

LLTEK has conversion kits to upgrade from standard halogen to HID. They also have a write-up on how to install the kit, which seems relatively easy. I helped install HID's in a few cars (unfortunately no Audis!), and it is pretty easy and straight-forward.

Also, you can check junk yards for wrecked cars and salvage their HID's. That might require a bit of extra work to wire up the ballasts without a new wiring harness.
