Wheels~~Will they work? Please HELP!
 

I have a New set of Konig Wheels & Dunlop Tires......I need to know if they will fit on my 2004 A4 Cabriolet. The wheels in question are : 18 x 7.5 5/100/114.45B (offset 45)

Here's the problem..........

Discount Tire doesn't show theses as being a wheel for my car and I also called them and they said they wouldn't work. BUT Today I found the Same wheels on Wheelsnext.com and they are listed as being a wheel to fit my car with the Exception of them being 18 x 8..... Does the 1/2 inch really make that much difference?

Man I lovethose wheels and I had just bought them a Month before I totalled my RX8.
I Really want to know if there is some way I can use theses wheels.

check the hole pattern, measure your back spacing. try tirerack.com for that info. it shows up when you select a wheel and tire package.

They are 5 bolt Dual slot.... I was given the impression from Discount tire that they would not be good for the weight distyribution of the car...HUH?

Looks like the Bolt Patterns specs for my car are 5-112

2Freakin' mm off!

Don't suppose they can be Machined?? Or is that a really stupid idea??

Here is what I have...I can re-buy them again to fit the A4, But that SUX!!!!

you can buy an adaptor/spacer that will change your 5x112 on your car to a 5x100, a nice set of 4 would prolly ber about 200-250$

I also called a Wheel Repair shop to see if they can change the both pattern 2mm.

I know...I know, I do like the 2 tone wheels...not too flashy and not solid black.
