Ok.. ever since I got my car chipped this has happened. Part of the time anyway (And even if its not happening.. the power still comes on rough and doesn't feel so smooth), help me figure out what it is.
Ok.. when I'm in 2nd and 3rd gear *usually* and I gas it from 2k.. turbo spooling right? Car going no where, RPM's between 2.7k and 3.5k sorta stick and then I hear POPOPOP out of my exhaust. Sounds nasty.. and it feels very JERKY. What could be the cause of this? Its really f*cked.. at first the guy thought it might be the cheap 91 market gas I used.. but it has a full tank of shell now. and the problem hasnt gone away. Suggestions?
It literally like.. I gas it and it doesn't move it spools and the RPMS barely go up, and then my exhaust starts making pops and its reluctant as fu*k to pull the car. Its terrible.. happened ever since I got it chipped. Revo..
wow that really sucks, ya i would maby check even repalce the plugs and see hwo that goes. it wouldent hurt to throw a can of seafoam in the gas tank next time u fill up to.

its no big deal, his plugs are gapped to big. They are either stock or grown larger. Once he gaps them to .028 he will be fine. If he still has a problem, then its his boost control

So you think its my plugs Cincy? Alright man, and yes theyre stock.. how do i gap them to 0.28?
Because this makes my chip zero fun, sometimes it runs alright and doesn't pop but even if its not popping its still wayy jerky and I hate how the power feels.
YOu just need to gap them down with either a feeler gauge or gap ring. You can get either at the parts store or walmart. The coin is like $1. You basically tap the tip on a hard surface and then measure. If its to big, do it again, if its to small, pull it open slowly until its to correct size. No need to change the plugs until the old ones are done.
