Default BJ's Wholesale Gas...

So I found the cheapest gas in the world on the way to work a few weeks ago... BJ's has Premium 93 for $2.96... but is it worth saving the $ or is it just some cheap crap that could mess up my car?

if their sign or pumps anywhere say a certain "manufacturer" then you are all good

but all gas comes from the same tanks.....problem is some companies put less cleaning addatives in theirs than others.... cheap can be good, but not always

i get sams club 93 octane for the same price as most peoples 89... but i have not ever noticed ill effects from doing so

Its probably brand X. It could be anyone. The thing with that is you'll never get true gas from anyone it will be mixed. Sunoco, BP, Lukoil Etc.

Not too far from me is a Citgo storage facility at which about half of the major gas companies fill their tanker trucks fordeliveriesat about 3:00am every morning. I've gone by and seen tanker trucks from Sunoco, BP, Hess,Citco, Gulf and others all lined up at the same station. I'm starting to think they're all the same.

Anyone ever check out the toptiergas.com website that audi says lists only those with the highest quality gasoline?

i would think its fine. they sell all brand name stuff inside. maybe they just have a HUGE tank beneath and get gas in bulk as well lol. BJ's is so far from me tho, i only get it when im shopping there. and i never notice any difference between that and shell v-power

use www.gasbuddy.com to find the least expensive gas currently in your area. you might find a new favorite gas station.

Same. I always stick with Shell V Power, which is always 93 octane in my state.
