Default '98 audi a4 2.8 turbo

i was wondering if anyone has found an aftermarket turbo for a '98 audi a4 2.8 and if they think it would be worth it to turbocharge anyways with 130k. have had no problems with the car ever and have a K&N intake + chip so far.thanks

no room and to much money when you could just trade in the car for a s4 and still make more with the s4 and a chip

unless your looking to drop some serious coin, an sts system would be your best bet. but your not gona that much power out of it, and can damage the turbo quite easily. either drop a few grand on a supercharger or look into buying a 1.8T

^^^Yeah and my 12v makes 500AWHP

To the poster, turbo charging the 30V V6 is a lot of custom work and while it can be done, you might want to look into the PES supercharger instead.

You can customize a turbo....buy a turbo for $500 somewhere lol i got my T4/T3 for $300 from a friend, find some place to put it and custom make the pipes, find a program to change fuel curves, find another program to change timing because otherwise i think you will only be able to push 3 to 5 pounds without blowing up your motor and uhh...injectors, intercooler, and your set. My whole setup is only costing me $1,244 cause that STSturbo.com crap is good but not worth $3,000 and then plus all the stuff you need to put on top of that...

or just go get a supercharger

good luck

do you think its still worth it if the car has 130k and are there any times from a pes supercharger on a 2.8 like 0-60 or 1/4 mile.
