Default excess road dirt on back of trunk deck

hi.. new audi owner, a4, cabriolet, 2006. i notice that the back of the trunk lid and rear bumper is covered in road dirt/dust immediately after washing and driving on the highway. rear licence plate recess seems to collect the most dirt.is there some known airflow/turbulance issue with the body design that causes this? anybody else seen this?

Default RE: excess road dirt on back of truck deck

driving with the top down it becomes more drastic but the rag top creates the turbulance.
