Just picked up an A8L Quattro 2004 and after test driving a couple i picked up a different one that was the cleanest. It does not seem to have the rear self opening and closing trunk. I did not know this was an option but i guess it is?

also it has 55,000 miles picked up for 26,950....good price or did i get shnookered. ps im in san jose california which is a much pricier market than say chicago for audi. It is a one owner car bought and owned in california.

The self opening trunk was an option and its one you dont want. They break all the time.

Was it a dark gray one listed on Craigslist for a while? I saw an 04 for that price while I was shopping for mine. I wondered why nobody snapped it up as it sounded like a good deal. The only negative I've heard about the 04's is that they are a little buggy being the first year for the redesign.

not craigslist but an online bay area site SF CA area....that stated it was loaded and it wasnt. dont believe the dealers. check every option. bought it at oakland infiniti and the advertisement stated about five nice options it did not actually have.
