I have been doing a lot of reading and research lately here on AF. Thanks to everyone that have posted on this forum. I have been able to find out quite a bit on my own just by searching posts that other members have made. Unfortunately I didn't find this site in time and I wound up purchasing a 2001 A4 2.8 Quattro. Don't get me wrong I really love the car but with what I have learned from here I should have been looking for an S4 or even the 1.8 turbo but it is too late. I only plan on modding a few things on the car and the first thing is the ride height. With that said I purchased a set of Neuspeed Race springs with the 2" drop all around. I see a wide variety of choices for people on here and comments(good or bad) are welcome.
What I need now are some shocks and struts to go with the springs. What brand should I go with? I can not find too many post for this topic with the 2.8 Quattro motor. Does anyone have any reccomendations on a brand based on experience??? Please let me know, I plan on trying to purchase some this week sometime if possible.. Thank you for your help.

anyone????? please. will the shocks/struts be the same part numbersfor the A4 1.8 quattro and A4 Quattro 2.8

wow. sorry nobody ever responded. nobody really checks these posts. i believe the shocks and struts are the same for the 1.8

a lot of people like the bilstein sport shocks. i would get those if i had money.

this is assuming that there is no difference between the 1.8 and 2.8
