02 A6 2.0l - I think the coil packs are gone
 

Hi there,

I have a feeling the coil packs are gone on my car, the engine management light has been on for a week or so now, but this morning it spluttered and wouldnt start. when it did fire up, it sounded like it was running on just 3 cylinders, so I left it at home and took the Avant.
Any suggestions?
Also, my air box seems to have broken off a piece, so I cut the neck off the bottle for injector cleaner as a replacement, but it seems to be melting a little. the part is quite expensive,any suggestion of an alternative to the plastic bottle neck?
