I live in CA and I'm about to get my windows tinted. Anyone ever get pulled over? How dark were your front windows?

I have gotten pulled over four times for window tint, but not in my audi. I had a black car with all windows except the windshield tinted to 10%. I got tickets every time, but they never made me take it off, just had to pay the tickets. I like not having to worry about it now but it also looks pretty sweet so I miss it too. After all that I think I calculated my tint costing me almost $700 after all the tickets. Gook luck!

Not in my audi, but in my Jetta. 25% all around, got pulled over once and got a 100$ ticket.

i think but don't qoute me haveing tint on a car where tint doesn't come on the car from factory is illegal, but it isn't illegal fora bussinessto put it on as long as they tell you it is illegal. any tint beyond what comes from factory if any is illegal

was riding with my friend once and he got pulled over and got a 100 dollar ticket for tint on his a4, 25% tint.

damn. 6%? that's def a ticket. driving at night must be a bit of a challenge. i.e. not the safest.
