Default wanna get to know my car...

as most of us do, i enjoy working on cars to a certain point lol that way there i know what is being done to it and i dont have to worry about stealerships and repair shops screwin me over with high priced labor cost... what is the best way to get to know everything about my car and how to fix it? i.e. websites manuals etc? thanks for the help guys!!

Bentley manual is very helpful if you need to change anything stock. Or DIY's if you wanna do some upgrades.

you can buy a factory repair manual for about $100, get a vagcom (u can buy a repair cd from ross-tech.com as well as your vagcom cable) and search! i just finished a timing belt job just following the DIY guides, i printed off several, read each one several times and jumped in! im also halfway through the clutch job! just waiting on audi to get me a new pilot bearing![:@]

ive done most things to my car from fuel pumps, short shifter, fmic, timing belt, filters, oil changes, center differential swap, and clutch is last to complete ! (well APR 3+ is what i really need to install)
