Default terrible noise

im getting a really awful sort of screeching sound when turning my car inside and outside of the car. there doesn't seem to be any grindings or rubbing and there is no increase in resistance. everything feels alright, but sounds awful. any ideas? thanks.

your going have to be more specific, it could be bad steering rack, wheel bearing crushed (i had a similar sound the other day when i hit a curb), cv joint.

specifically where is the sound coming from and also what does it exactly sound like,

the noise happens on any steer of the wheel be it in motion or not. it sounds like a door creaking or like old floor board type creak. it appears to be coming from the front of the car. both cv boots were just recently replaced.

well i decided to put the oem power steering fluid into the coolant reservoir and now my car won't start any ideas on how to correct this, so we can get back into trouble shooting the initial problem.

coolant resevoir??? do you mean the resevoir for the power steering pump? i sure hope so...

Explain won't start, does the starter turn the engine over and it just won't fire or is it acting like the battery is dead?

if you really did that, your going to have to get that all bled out. PS fluid does not go into the coolant reservior.
