Default Tint shop in DC/VA area

I'm in desperate need of a reputable tint shop in the DC/VA perhaps Maryland area. I had a couple tint shops I've used before on various cars with no problems. Tint shops around here go out of business faster than restaurants in NYC.

Here's the catch, I don't want Joe Schmoe doing it out of his rented out garage or some 18 year old kid with 10 hours of experience touching my car.

Please let me know if any recommendations you have.

i have a great one I just got my car done guy has (Matt) been doing tinting for 10+ years he had just got done doing an R8 and a couple Ferarri's before I got mine done. here is the website http://www.tnttint.net/I got my A3 wrapped in 20% for 230$ that includes a lifetime warrantee. I was in the shop when he was doing the tinting (it was my first tint job) and he explained everything while he was doing it and we just generally shot the shit. I would recommend bringing a six pack with you and chilling while he does your car and talking to him about his sick classic car collection. It is located in Alexandria. Let me know if you have any other questions. I really cant say enough good things about Matt class act!

Thanks Swaynest. I'll definitely have to check the shop out. 20% all the way around? Man, you're asking for a ticket haha. In my last car I had 28% all around and got pulled over and handed a shiny new $300 ticket. I'm thinking this time I'm actual going to do legal VA tint except the back window I'll have them do 20%. Is Matt the only one that runs the shop? Usually those are the best. Good ol' boys running the shop on their own. Let me know how yours holds up.

I asked matt about the percentage and he thought that 20% was pushing it but if I am not driving like an idiot I should be alright. My roommate has a 2006 GTO bright red and had 4% all the way around talk about a cop magnet he got 4+ tickets in 5 months and then decided to get the tint removed.

Yeah he is a one man business but works/rents out Martin Motor Sports which is a european car shop. I will keep you informed on how mine holds up.

theres a place about 30+ minutes N of DC called A and N tint shop. I wouldnt say they are professional however they do a good job. I've gone to them twice, and know about 3 or 4 other people who are satisfied with them.

i got 5% on the entire car for $100. they'll do any grade you want. 1 year warranty for bubbles and the rest.

edit: went today to get a tint. upped prices to $125. still a great deal imo.

Is there any good tint shop in Maryland?

Is mirror tint the same as reflective tint? According to Tintcenter MD doesn't have any restriction on how reflective tints can be. I thought MD doesn't allow mirror tints. Can anyone confirm this please? Thanks.

I used Driven Dynamics in Rockville. Very clean shop and high quality work with 3M films.

I did 35% all the way around and it looks tight on my dark blue car.

For VA, I (and a lot of people I know) went to LA Tint in Alexandria. Good work!

Hi all;
Does anyone know a tint shop around the Baltimore area? I'm especially looking for something on the west to south of Baltimore. Any input would be appreciated.

--THX--
