To all my fellow 4.2 owners with the wide wheels, I want to know what tires are the best for the price (I'm looking to spend up to $140 per tire). I bought some all season Kumho a year ago and 3 out of 4 tires went flat on separate occasions, do not buy them! I know our cars eat up tires pretty fast but I don't want to replace them every year. Which ones have the best performance? Which ones are the quietest? Which ones will last the longest? Lets discuss.

I use Falkens on mine. But mine are on 19" rims. They were about £130 per tyre (in the UK). So 17" ones in the US should be about the $140 mark I guess.

Take a look at the Tirerack site and see what tires they recommend. I run 255/40/18s and my tires of choice are as follows:

Summer Goodyear D3s
Winter Dunlop M3s
All Season Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S
