Default This is strange

Ok Irecently purchasedan 02 audi a4 1.8t andI thought everythoing was looking good tilI noticed that my fog lights wouldnt turn on when my headlights were turned on in either low or high beam, so i figured to check the fuse box to see if the fuse was blown and heres the strange thing where the fuse should be in the fusepanel (number 19ifI remember right)there was nothing, no fusenot even metal contacts for the fuse to connect toin the fuse panel, has anyone else seen this or know why i would have fog lights that are not connected to the fuse box? and how to turn them on?

If theres no contacts there than id be willing to bet that there isurnt supposed to be a fuse. The labels are generic and dont apply to all cars. Did you turn the headlights on and pull the headlight switch out? Thats what turns the fogs on. Also dont overlook the posiblitly of two bad bulbs.
