Hey guys, I know I may sound like a rooki but how long can one drive on blown Turbochargers on 2001 2.7T A6? The reason is that I am collecting money to put K04s, and I wonder meanwhile is it safe for a car to drive or am I going to damage something else? If so - what are the signs when I should STOP driving?
THanks in advance...

Dealer diagnoised it. It has that characteristic noise, and lack of power as well. Could I drive another 1000 miles? The smoke also sticks of some unpleasent smell (gasket???). It also has bad smoke from the back (burning oil from tubro line). Basically it is Screwed up...

Drive it like a grandma if you have to drive it.  I would avoid driving it if possible until fixed.
