just wanna be safe, today while driving out in the boonies i saw a sign that said water on road, i saw it and said why not downshifted na dflew into water higher than the door at well over 40mph, i came out with people in SUV's looking at me like WTF the car took it well but it felt like the clutch/tranny was slipping when i upshifted and im pretty sure i heard the engine sputter. got it home (no syptoms at this point)no codes, no water in teh snorkel, oil looked like its due for a change (still got about 500 miles before next change) otherwise everything felt solid, anything i should be worried about or an i just over reacting.

well, as stated in the previous post water can be a terrible thing if it gets in the wrong places, such as your air intake, etc. your clutch and brakes may be a little screwy for a little while but as long as your car starts and runs fine i see no major foreseeable problems...

well got more tiem to look things over and all seems fine so im just gonna change the oil soon since its the only thing looking bad (blackish) and writing a letter to mobil letting them know that mobil clean on my car laster to around 2500 instead of the 5000 miles its supposed too.
