Default Using a K03S with K04 programing

I thought that I remembered Onepoint8tee mentioning that it would be ok to use a k03 sport in place of a k04 and still use the k04 programing.

anyone else thought about this? The unit that I found is out of a 2002 k03-029 I think.

Am I crazy

the hp rating difference is 5hp. You will be fine. If you already have tuning for a ko3, i would just leave it be and possibly throw in a 5bar if the fueling needs in

Is that all I would need - 5bar FPR and the turbo? I'm going to order a full Borla exhaust on Monday. Thinking about doing a Labree HFC while I'm in there. I want to be financially prepared if you know what I mean or at least have a clue as to what I need.

Side question - If I buy a Cat-back borla, how hard is it going to be to hang it myself? or is that something I should have an exhaust shop do?

It doesn't matter if it's Borla, Magnaflow, Milltek, AWE-Tuning, etc; hanging them is pretty much the same. If you know what you're doing you might as well give it a shot!

most likely and easy to do yourself.

pretty sure most exhaust companies utilize the stock hangars, my techtonics exhaust took all of an hour to put on. 30 minutes of that was waiting for the pb blaster to do its work
