Default 2009 HID Lights

Hey Everyone,

For those who have seen the facelift light assembly for the 2009 A3s, I have a couple of questions!
1) Poll - Do you guys like them? For me, I really like them, though I prefer the LED DRL strip underneath the headlights as in the A4. But having them LED strip on top emphasizes the cut-line on the hood, draws the lines of the cars right to the back, and fits in well with the design-language of the A3. Hot!

2) Does anyone know if the assembly will be the same size and would it be possible to retrofit into a 2007 A3?

Ugh. Images are BIG. anyway, to answer 1 and 2:

1) I personally don't like them. If the LED were on the bottom they would look better but as it stands no thank you.

2) They look as if they have the same contours, so they should fit. The wiring harness may be different though since LEDs run on a lower wattage.

Lastly, I SOOOO Want to paint the bottem lip black on my car similar to that new white A3.

Hmmm, can't say that I'm all shot with the new look, however, since I want the new EA 888 engine, I might just have to put up with them. [:@]

I think all we really need is a good program to get the LED's to move back and forth like the Knight Rider. That'd do it! Oh, and we need to change to red bulbs....SWEEEEEEEEET! LOL

Cheers!
