Koni sport and threaded suspension?$600,or$1200

Ok here's the link. The threaded suspension offers a fully adj. ride heigth and stiffness whereas the other is just a sport suspension. Is it worth spending almost double on the fully adjustable koni system or will the $600 kit offer the support for some weekend aggressive driving?
I like the versatility of the threaded suspension, but is it necessary for the weekend racer? I do like the best but can't afford the $2000+ kits. Anybody had luck with this kit? Or do you have a brand you prefer that performs well and is semi-kind on the wallet?

koni is the barand i want to go with, you are only going for some weekend agressive driving, then the 600 dollar kity should be sufficient for what you need
