Default Noob Question: Cargo Capacity

How is the cargo capacity of the A3?

I DJ as a fulltime 2nd job and I play a ton of Golf (am tourneys, outings, etc...)

Need something that is fun to drive and yet has cargo capacity for my needs/hobbies...

Can I haul a DJ set up: speakers, turntables, cd player, records, cds, etc...?

I remember reading somewhere that it was small in the back area...

Thanks in Advance...

i dont know about dj equipment but i can fit 3 golf bags if I fold down the two seat portion of the back seat. I was a little disapointed that golf clubs were hard to fit in perpendicularly (spelling?). but as for the fun to drive you cant beat it.

I actually got to play some golf (9 holes on a par 3 course) yesterday .... golf in washington DC in mid february?!?!?! unheard of ...but the weather was just to awsome to pass up.

Hey Swaynest - where'd ya play yesterday? That weather was totally awesome - didn't last long though.
SigmaMason;
If you're talking about "real dj" equipment- I don't think an A4 Avant would be big enough either. The A3 has decent cargo room for a car in it's class size - with the key phrase there being "in it's class size". Best thing to do would be to go to a dealership and measure out the back.

i could fit a standard sized elliptical in my cargo area w/ seats down (and i mean removing the bottom portion b/c that gives you a bit more area and flatter surface)...w/o the box unfortunately, reason being b/c of the hatch where it slants. if the hatch were a box like a scion, it would've fit fine.

dimension of box was: 30"H X 21"D X 59"L
