Great advice from everyone. Thanks Axel for the suggestion. Im getting a good idea of what to start on, and of course i wouldnt buy a new bike. I'm not planning on killing myself. The bikes me and my friend are looking at are 2000 Ninjas. 2 of them for $4,000 a peice. Thanks again! any other suggestions would be appreciated.

dig as much info as you can from this web site http://www.webbikeworld.com/ , gear a must , m licence a must, and don`t stunt in first week after you get the bike :)))), motorcycle safety course helps a lot, learn how to corner, learn your bike, and when you have some money and a good no of driving miles , get a 1000 and change pipes, air filter, put a dyno, change sprokets and a steering damper a must (scotss, ohlin ):D be safe!

Thank you so much. I love the people on this forum, its like a big family. Useful info for a beginner. Before I got the Audi I knew a lot about it but now I know soo much more. So I'm going to try and learn as much I can about bikes before I get one.

Halik, what exactly is that bike. I know its a Suziki gsxR, but is it an actual race bike.

I drive a 99 A6 and my bike is a 03 R1 w/a power commander 3, Yoshimura tri-oval Carbon Fiber exhaust, Flush mount blinkers, integrated rear tailights, velocity stacks, K&N and of course slide stops. Hopefully Nos will be in the near future if I can talk my woman into letting me do it lol, I plan on doing a little draggin this summer

Ive had it to 175 but she had 1 and a half more gears to go so I would expect her to go close to 200 or maybe even a little over

Does my '04 allroad qualify as an A6??

Love the car, but would love it more if it were a 6 speed. Black, recently purchased as a CPO with 32K miles. Bikes: '67 Triumph Bonneville, '68 Triumph Bonneville, '00 KTM EXC300 Enduro, '03 Ducati ST4s, '04 Honda CBR1000RR Superstock race bike.

Not required in michigan, have traveled in many states with no problem- huge rooster ails in the rain!
