Ok so i've yet to replace my wiper blades on my a4... I was wondering if I need to get specific blades to fit my oem blades? or can i just get the blade refills? I'm a little confused... I usually order stuff off rockauto.com but if there is another site or anything cheaper.... Let me know... Also if there is any better setup out there... Any info?? I'd prefer to keep it inexpensive but any advice would be helpful...

I'm under warranty and they charged me. "wear and tear"
That's bull, I got mine changed everytime I took it in for free maint. Even the brake pads were supposed to be free (if only I'd worn them down sooner).

Take one of the blades to your local Auto-Zone and pick up any blade in the same length. You can swap the blade part itself into the odd Audi wiper arm. I had to to this when I first bought mine to get it to pass state inspection (one of the blades was cracked and it failed). They've been working fine since.

I like your idea. I should have tried that first than getting a pair of OEMs from eBay for $32 w/ ship'g...

IMO ... go to Audi and tell them you need new wiper blades (not refills). I got them sent from Audi (in Atlanta) to my buddy who works at Advance Auto (in Columbus, GA where I live - we don't have a dealership here). Audi charged me like $12-$13 a piece ... I took the new ones home, snip-snap and I was ready for a rain storm. Remember, you may have to spend an extra dollar or two, but don't skimp - it's an Audi.
