Default Enlarging pic plz help

I want to enlarge a pic i have but when i stretch it it get all pixelated. Now on alot of TV shows like las Vegas and CSI they zoom in on all the pictures and then make them clear so u can see them. Does anyone know how to do this? I have Photoshop if u can do it on there and also Corle draw. Or i can also downlaod something.

yeah...

that's fake dude, it's a special effect. the best you can try to do is, enlarge it, try to blur enough to get rid of the pixels, then sharpen it. that might not even work.

yea not sure how u could do that. when u take a pic, its a still picture of something, made up of thousands of pixals. zooming in on the picture, makes the pixals bigger. pixals carry a certian colour, so making a pixal bigger would only blur the picture. thats why when u run high res on ur games, it looks alot better and more clear then when u run it at 800x600.

if you watch REAL police stuff... like police chases zooming in... it gets pixely. CSI just makes it clear as hell for effect...

unless this program compresses pixals as u zoom in, i dont kno how they are going to do it. only way to make it clear is when u zoom in, to take every single pixal that got zoomed and make it smaller, but that would make u zoom out, no?

A regular camera picture when enlarged will always become pixelated when trying to enlarge it, just because you are adding more pixels per inch when you enlarge it.

The only way the TV could become true is if the survelliance cameras where taking pics at a super high resolution but only showing the screen at a lower resolution, then whomever was enhancing it could get the effect you want. The other option would be a program that simulates the missing pixels and fills them in for you, thus enhancing it, but most regular users don't have those type of programs.

Most photo places only accept pictures above a certain pixel per inch, it really depends on what you mean by enhance though.

Enhance and enlarging is a completely different process.
