Default Changes for 09 Model

I had read somewhere a while ago that there will be a body style change for the A3 in 09. Does anyone know when that is expected to happen?
I was looking on the AOL auto web site and I saw that the 2.0T Manual is "no longer factory orderable". Take a look at the picture below. Is that a sign of things to come?

Default RE: Changes for 09 Model

As I understand it, the A3 is scheduled for a minor facelift (new eyes and such), the 2.0T is supposed to be replaced by the new (and much greener) EA 888 211 HP 2.0T (which uses a timing chain in place of the current timing belt), and possiby a Haldex sourced "Quattro" option al-la the A3 3.2 models (although hopefully it will also be available with amanual transmission) will be on the menu as well.

So far at least, the only thing that seems completely confirmed is the facelift. That said, that you've found that the 2.0T is no longer available for ordering would seem to indicate that that engine is being phased out of production prior to the re-tooling for the EA 888 (although this does seem to be a tad early for such a move).

Strange, that thumbnail shows two radio button items for the 2.0T 6MT, but only the first one shows as unavailable...
