Hi All,

I'm new to the forum, my apoliogies for my noviceness but guidance would be appreciated.

Just bought an 02 A4 FWD 1.8T that has the regular suspension.  I would like to swap it out for the sport suspension.  I know the springs are different, but are the shocks different as well?

Would anyone have guidance as to where I can get these for a cheap? Used or new.

Thanks!!

Sport tuned suspension is more stiff, and lighter. It helps the car handle much better.

A normal suspension is heavier and more comfortable. It has springs that move the car up and down when you go over bumps so the force of the bump will not hurt the car.

But for better handling, you do not want your car to flex and bounce around. You want it as stiff as possible to make it turn faster.
