Default door moldings

Aside from eBay, does anyone know where I can purchase a complete set? Also, in order to install them would i need to remove the door panel(s)?

Are you talking about the lower black molding? I am pretty sure you can get it at ECStuning but I am not sure. Also you can get them at the stealership.

Yeah the trim mouldings on the bottom of your doors car available at ECS Tuning for about $125/set. You don't have to remove the doors, but be ready for a PITA because they're held on by a steel bolt screwed into brass threads. [:@]

Yeah it's pretty simple; the onlytrick is getting the old bolts apart. Each trim piece slides into place from the back corner of the door, and then there's a bolt that goes through from the inside at the front corner that holds the trim piece in place. My old trim pretty much just rotted to the point where it fell off, leaving just a little bit at the front still attached to the bolts. So I drilled through the old bolts and got some new ones, plus washers and some anti-seize compound, and voila!

Same happened when I put my new ones on two weeks ago - there was some of the plastic from the lowers still on the bolt inserts, but it tore away and left just the thread inserts that the bolts were screwed into. I clamped on them with vise grips and then took them out via screwdriver on the inside of the door. It was kind of a pain, but not too bad.

Nope, you don't have to take the door panel off. Open the door and look way down in the lower front corner on the inside, and you'll see a screw there - that's the anchor screw for the lower. It's in the same place on all four doors.
