Are you guys nuts? We are talking about a 2001 or something Si with a ka motor making 160hp and way less tq. The race should be close but a chipped 1.8t should take the slow as Si. I drove one once an it was slow as piss. It also doesnt have the vtec kick like the RSX type S has.

From what i just looked up on the stock si 1/4 times. It should be 15.6-7 sec. If you cant do that with a chip, you need way more practice. When you start, make sure your at about 3k and shift at about 5.5k. If you follow that, there is no way you could lose.

he didn't ever specify what Si model he was racing, and I still think that the Civic might have a chance because the power to weight ratio is better than the Audi.
Thats just my opinion, I mean I also do not condone racing on the street, at all, I think it is retarded and you should take it to the track, that way you have times to back up everything you talk about.
Just my opinion though, with his mods maybe he'll take the Si, but then again, maybe not.
Good luck though.
edit: I just now noticed you had a chip, so I'll give it to the Audi now.
After you win make him kiss the rings

The only si hatch is the last gen that came out in like 01-04. All the other hatches are ex or dx that came out in like pre 95. Not to mention the only si's with a nice engines are the 97-99 (i think) with a B16 in it and the new ones with a KA20 with a nicer head.
