My friend has a vw passat waggon (exactly like the avant) And his car looks great with the S4 B5 rims. I would stick with a thicker spoke on an avant. His looks great because they are oem wheels with AUDI center caps on his VW

I agree with the tint drop and rims. Get rid of that ugly ass external sat radio and get something built in. alpine decks work great if you have an ipod. also mine can do the sat and HD radio

You got a wagon, which is real nice for a start and different. Looking bac at it, which I had bought a wagon, an Allroad or S6.
Anyway, you need to slam this baby, get some nice clean rims like the RS6 replicas or a set of BBS CH maybe, Oettinger REs....
Then get S6 door blades, tint, debadge this baby's trunk and get a front euro plate. Oh get a new front grille too, make it look a little meaner :)

in retrospect i should have bought that allroad i was looking at back in '05.  when i test drove that baby i had a blast.

i saw an a4 avant 2 days ago with BBS LM's and it was slammed appropriately.  it looked VERY good.  it was grey and no tint...might be an idea for your car

Turbo, what are you doing on the A6 forum, trying to get an idea of what your new 2.7t is going to be like.

+1 on all the suggestions above. 18 or 19's will fit nice. Drop it bout 1-1/2". That'll give you a nice low stance but still practical for a daily driver.

i think the sat radio looks fine, would have mounted it differently but it looks okay to me.

Also its 35 or 20% for the tints.  Depends on your state laws really.  Im in CT so and the max is 35.  35 all around and 20% on the back window darkens it up enoguh,

A8 rims wil look nice, I ahve seen an A6 with them on. RS6 or DTM RS4 also look nice.
Drop 1.5 all around, if you like the rake look, drop 1.75 fr and 1.5 rear (H&R springs will do that)

i had 5% on mine i got pulled over 2 hours after i had it put on haha plus you cant see **** at night good luck haha

yea fiberglassing that thing was a pain but the comments were all worth it ... thank you ... i got the unit with bluetooth and smart nav and back up camera for 500 (my friend works at Circuit city and got me 70% or around that off the price ) i have been hearing you can find then for 700 to 1000 bucks and it is an awesome unit ... the higher end poineers are nice aswell but this is the most cost effective
