Default Turbo and maintnance?

1997 audi A4 1.8t (AEB)FWDA/T w/ 127,389 miles


i put a stock eclips dv in my car and it boosted to about 8psi much more than the audi dv (3-4psi) but it backfires and chatters way to much could this mean that the stock dv is junk?

and also i have 127,389 miles on the car and i have replaced...
-timming belt
-water pump
-all four coils
-fule filter
-air filter
-belt tentioner
-belt
-spark plugs
-all the front end parts lol
-lowered it with bilstine all around
-----Anything not listed is probly stock from the factory not replaced yet i have only had the car for about 8 months.------
what els do u think i could or need to do??

i know i need the n75 because my scanner sez it is malfunc..
and i need the 2 intake valves the dv and the reserk

no, what that means is that you shouldent be running a BOV uncurculated in your car beucase that is what is causing all the backfires and chatters, these cars are made to run dv's or a closed curcit bov. i would take that bov out of there soon before some real dammage occours

well it is still a closed loop becausebecause its a dule stage well i guess i should be saying its a dv not bovmy fault

if you need a new n75 i have a spare race valve i will sell you for 40 bucks...... also you might wanna toss that eclipse dv/bov and get a 710n for the tt

i would go in an replace all the vac hoses....... cause the stock dv should be letting you hit more than 3 or 4 psi and if the eclipse one is chattering then it is not working properly even though you are spiking at 8...... so i guess this means you have a boost guage?

you might also remove your mid muffler/resinator.....help the car breath better.... get a dp/tp if your state has no emissions/saftey....... then you could look at the newbie guide in the a4 section for other "mods" free or pay that you could do

you need to get a new n75 or bypass it and run a mbc. after that if its still messin up get a different dv
