Default 2006 A6 Maintenance Program?

I just bought a used 2006 A6 with 37k on it...is this supposed to automatically have the maintenance program or no? Also what are the buttons near the moon roof that are labeled "I, II, and III"? It didn't come with an owner's manual. Thanks.

The service indecator works off theodomiter so when you get within a set milage of the service point then itwill tell you. This is just a guss as I have a 2000 butIthink theI, II, III near the moon roof could be settings for the tilt on the moon roof.
hope that helps
James

The I, II and II buttons are for the homelink. I think that the 05 was the last car year that included the 4year/50K mile maintenance for free. I think that starting in 06 you had to pay for the maintenance program.

The 05 model pretty much covers everything including brake pads ect.
The 06 models covers a lot less, brakes aren't covered, nor is brake light bulbs or any wear items like wiper blades.
The 07 model has an optional package that you can buy that covers brakes, wipers, bulbs ect.

After you turn the car off, hold the econ button down for 2 seconds and the car runs the heating system for the next 30 minutes even though the car is turned off. Keeps the car warm when you run into the store.

the audi care in 07 will not cover the brakes wipers and bulbs and car battery...i will only cover the 15 25 35 and 45k services

in 2006 audi care comes with the car so the services are included but will not cover brakes. bulbs, and car battery, wiper blades
