ive been reasearching since about around 9 and its now 11:50 so i feel like posting this question is now OK

I havent been able to find and definitive answers as to wether or not the the bumpers are interchangeable between the pre and post facelift A6's 98-04.

Please dont give answers like: yes or no or www.lltek.com or any of the kinda answers that show you really have no idea.

I need definates, also if there are steps involved with the process, It would be great to know those steps as well.

Maybe if there is someone out there who knows how, a nice writeup can be done and stickied???

If some does give good enough support, I would be willing to do this conversion and a DIY write up.

The long and the short is yes.  But not without a lot of work/parts.    Really with the right amount of money you can put a C6 front end on the car.  It has been done, but imo not worth it unless you can source the parts cheap as I think the pre facelift cars look better.  But then again, I don't think many upgrades/addons are worth the money.

In order to use a facelift bumper you will need: bumper, headlights, grille, hood, fenders, and assorted bumper supports. Not really worth it IMO, since there's not that much of a change...now, if you wanted to do an RS6 kit from lltek, then that would be worth it.
