ecs has a kit, you can get it with either stock rotors($284.95), slotted rotors($349), or slotted x-drilled rotors($349)......

its listed under big brake oem
i am getting the slotted, x-drilled, in fact i was about to order them when i saw this thread, so i am waiting to see what happens, i am getting them, with hawk hps pads regardless of how much, if any discount we get.

Only 2 of the 7 places I called for the coilover group buy wanted anything to do with it. Most of them said they'd never do any group buy pricing deals ever; they need to have the upper hand - not the customer. But here, with over 25 people in on this, I figured they'd be more open. That's like 25 orders ECS, PureMS, or who ever is gonna get, and the other vendors will get ZERO orders. You'd think someone would be smart enough to choose 25 orders over ZERO.  Could be your negotiation tactics... you gotta be firm and let them know someone else will be taking their 25 orders unless they can do some kind of deal for you.

^seriously. and there were actually over 30 people in on this, i just stopped updating the list when no one was getting back to me and if you include the people on audizine the order could have climbed to over 50 EASY. hell even if the company wasn't making much on the deal, they just helped out 50 members of the community. pretty sure thats gona get them more business in the future. i know i would more inclined to buy from them again.

purems is the cheapest and they wont go any lower.  If anyone did drop the cost, they will just go to that price.  Just buy them from purems now if you want them.

If anyone would like to shop the parts themselves, I believe these are the part numbers:

Rotor     8DO 615 301 J
Carrier   8NO 615 125

You give a part number for the stock rotors, but would you happen to know the year of the car that the rotors came from?  I really like Centric rotors, and will only use them from now on.  On Lancer Evolutions, Centric and Rotor Pros are the cheap alternatives to the expensive Brembos.

i believe the rotors come off the 98 a8. the one that had the same 5 spoke wheels as the b5 a4.

If I upgrade the rear brake to S4 specs, then will I need to get S4 brake pads as well?  I haven't seen it mentioned yet, so I guess the A4 pads will might work?

pads go with calipers, not rotors.  Also there is no point in upgrading the rears unless you track the car
