Default Damage Estimates

Hey guys. I recently got in a wreck with my 1999.5 2.8qm and i am wondering if my it is totaled. There's pretty heavy damage to the passenger-side rear of the body and the right-rear wheel is slanted outward (I am thinking this could have messed with the quattro system and possibly the rear axle). Also the ABS light now appears on the dash. I am just wondering what you guys think the total damage estimates are and if the insurance company does declare it totaled what (Audi) should I buy with about a $9,000 budget?

6-7k worth of damage...definately totalled

if I had 9k I would buy a 1.8T with the lowast possible milage...try 2 find a B5 with less than 70k on the clock....

make sure the car has all of its maintenance records!

gl! sorry to hear about your accident [>:]

Sorry about your car. This is something that I am extremely worry about, getting hit by someone else (cross my fingers).

From the pictures, it looks like the chasis might have been hit; in which that it would probably cost a lot to fix which then would probably make your car be declared as totalled.

I wish you luck with thenewpurchase and I agree with buying a 1.8T if you plan to do some modifying.

ya definitely totalled like the others said. i would buy it back for cheap and buy another a4 whatever you like and part out the totalled one. you probably will have money left over for mods after you sell all the parts

Default RE: Damage Estimates

those pics look like 4k damage, (to me)

if i had 9,000 bucks i'd definitly add 1,500 and get an S4.

i almost bought a 2001 S4, 6 speed, silver ext. black int. with 66k miles for 10,600 but decided not to get it after driving it. (needed new turbos possibly piston rings)

you can find a hit but still clear title S4 for 9g. thats what im looking for. i found plenty that had 65-75k times 2000-2001. but didnt like the color combination. =/ i want white on white or black on black. or nagaro blue with blue/white int. hard combo's to find. and if you do find them they tend to be more since the rarity.
